The mind is a set of faculties for processing information that makes possible consciousness, judgments, memory and perceptions.

The thought is the carrier of information, the mind processes the information.

The human species developed a much larger brain than that of other primates, 1330 cm^3 in modern humans.

Tools use may have stimulated certain aspects of human evolution, particularly the continued expansion of the human brain.

The religious mind is one result of a brain that is large enough to formulate religious and philosophical ideas.

In philosophy the mind–body problem examines the relationship between mind and matter and in particular the relationship between consciousness and the brain.

A single non-repeating wave packet of duration Δt is created by the superposition of many waves that span a range of frequencies Δf.

A wave packet solution to the wave equation must contain a range of frequencies. The shorter the pulse in time implies a greater frequency range of the components.

We now consider the formation of a composite wave as the superposition of a continuous spectrum of plane waves with wave numbers k confined to a narrow band of values.

Such a composite wave is known as a wave packet.

The weighting factor A(k) for each wave of wave number k is negligible except when k lies within a small interval Δk.

We can see that the wave packet is the inverse Fourier transform of A(k).

Because of the Fourier relationships between Ψ(x, t) and A(k) the factor (2π)^(-1/2) is included in equation.

The angular frequency ω(k) is a function of k, so that the angular frequencies in the composite wave Ψ(x, t) as well as the wave numbers, vary from one wave to another.

A wave packet is a localized disturbance that results from the superposition of many different wave forms.

If the packet is strongly localized, more frequencies are needed to allow the constructive superposition in the region of localization and destructive superposition outside this region.

The thought is a single act or product of thinking, the product of mental activity.

We follow the path of information.

Evolution is a change in the gene pool of a population over time because of mind activity, radiation, chemicals or a chance event. These changes accumulate in the population and another species evolves, which is completely different from its ancestors; a movement toward increasing complexity.

The electric field is the physical field that surrounds charged particles and exerts force on all other charged particles in the field, either attracting or repelling them.

Electric fields originate from electric charges, or from time-varying magnetic fields. Electric fields and magnetic fields are both manifestations of the electromagnetic force, one of the four fundamental forces of nature.

 

The electric field is defined as a vector field that associates to each point in space the force per unit of charge exerted on an infinitesimal positive test charge at rest at that point.

The strength of an electric field E at any point may be defined as the electric  force F exerted per unit positive electric charge q at that point, E = F/q.

The direction of the force that is exerted on a negative charge is opposite that which is exerted on a positive charge.

The electric field is directly proportional to the amount of charge and it is inversely proportional to the square of the distance radially away from the centre of the source charge.
